The National Commission for Science Technology and Innovation’s Director General is the Erasmus+ National Focal Point (ENFP) responsible for promoting participation by Kenyan institutions and individuals in Erasmus+ activities and programmes.
About the Erasmus Virtual Exchanges (EVE) in higher education and youth.
These are online people-to-people activities promoting intercultural dialogue and developing soft skills. These activities make it possible for every young person to access high-quality international and cross-cultural education (both formal and non-formal) without physical mobility. The 2024 EVE call targeting activities in 2025 were published with several objectives:
- Encourage intercultural dialogue
- Promote various types of virtual exchanges,
- Enhance critical thinking and media literacy,
- Foster the digital and soft skills development of students, young people and youth workers
- Promote citizenship and the common values of freedom, tolerance and nondiscrimination through education
- Strengthen the youth dimension in the relations of the EU with third countries.
