NACOSTI SIGNS PERFORMANCE CONTRACT, PLEDGING TO DRIVE KENYA’S RSTI LANDSCAPE

The National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI) has formally signed its Performance Contract for the FY2024/25, solidifying its commitment to advancing research, science, technology, and innovation (RSTI) for sustainable development in Kenya. Hon. Julius Migos Ogamba, CBS, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Education, presided over the signing, alongside Dr. Beatrice Inyangala, Principal Secretary for Higher Education and Research, Prof. Dickson Andala, NACOSTI Board Member, and Mr. Gideon Kirui, Director of Corporate Services at NACOSTI representing Prof. Walter O. Oyawa, Director General NACOSTI.

The FY 2024/25 Performance Contract outlines NACOSTI’s key objectives and targets, focusing on measurable outcomes that will contribute to national development goals. The contract is aligned with Vision 2030, Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda and STI policy, ensuring that NACOSTI’s efforts directly support the government’s broader development agenda.
