NACOSTI DIRECTOR GENERAL CONTINUES FOR A FURTHER ONE TERM AS A GOVERNING BOARD MEMBER OF THE ISC

The Governing Board is one of the key decision-making bodies of the International Science Council providing scientific and strategic leadership to oversee the achievement of the Council’s vision, mission, principles and values, and to secure the financial and management robustness of the Council.

The Governing Board consists of 17 members, including the President, the President-elect – who will assume the Presidency in October 2026 – as well as four Vice-Presidents and eleven additional ordinary members. The ISC Chief Executive Officer is an ex-officio member.
