The National Commission for Science, Technology, and Innovation (NACOSTI), led by its Director General, Prof. Walter Oyawa, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Dr. Jonathan Bii Chelilim, E.G.H., the Governor of Uasin Gishu County. The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Eddyson Nyale, the Uasin Gishu County Commissioner, and other key officials. The visit aimed to foster strategic collaboration between NACOSTI and the Uasin Gishu County Government in advancing science, technology, and innovation (STI) within the region.

A Regional Workshop on the universalization and effective implementation of the Biological Weapons for East Africa was held in Mombasa, Kenya, on 18-19 October 2022.
